Posted above is the aerial footage of the heavily-damaged slipper factory of Kentex Manufacturing Inc., which was gutted by fire on Wednesday morning, May 13.
The video was taken using a drone piloted by Philippine Daily Inquirer chief photographer Rem Zamora.
As of posting time, authorities said at least 72 workers were killed while dozens remain missing.

According to investigators, the seven-hour fire started from a front door welding operation, which reacted to the chemical substance used in making slippers.

Factory workers were said to have been trapped at the second floor of the slipper factory, which had windows secured by steel bars. Many were believed to have suffocated by the smoke coming from the fire.
