MANILA, Philippines  – “The best opinion is the result of the elections,” Manila mayoral candidate and former vice mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said after rival and former city mayor Alfredo Lim belittled his candidacy.

“He’s entitled to his opinion and everybody is also,” Moreno told INQUIRER.net.

“The best opinion is the result of the elections,” he added.

He, however, said Lim’s opinion has nothing to do with the citizens of Manila and he would only answer issues that are plaguing the nation’s capital.

“I respect his (Lim’s) views and I wish him well and good health and I hope makayanan nya itong kampanya,” Moreno said.

“But it has nothing to do with Manileans. I will answer things tungkol sa katayuan ng Maynila, anong pangarap nila sa Manila. Tingin ko yung bagay na sagutin nila,” he added.  / gsg
