‘Get ready to rumble’ in case VP Duterte is arrested – Dela Rosa
MANILA, Philippines — Is Vice President Sara Duterte ready in case she faces arrest for her recent kill threat against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and Speaker Martin Romualdez?
“Let’s get ready to rumble, The more you hurt her, the more she [will] fight back,” Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa said in an interview, reacting to a media question on Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) issued a subpoena to Duterte for her threat.
The subpoena commands Duterte to appear before the NBI Main Office in Pasay City at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 29.
She was asked to present evidence on the investigation of alleged grave threats under Article 282 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 6 of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No, 10175).

She and Dela Rosa were among those who accompanied Office of the Vice President Chief of Staff Undersecretary Zuleika Lopez at the VMMC in Quezon City.
Lopez was confined at the center after experiencing medical issues caused by a panic attack.
Prior to this, Lopez was cited for contempt by the panel investigating the alleged misuse of funds for OVP and DepEd after lawmakers found her committing undue interference during the committee’s sixth hearing.
The vice president also stayed at the House premises last Friday night to accompany Lopez before she was transferred to the VMMC.
