In a televised radio show aired Tuesday night, senatorial aspirant Gadon named Senators Pangilinan, Antonio Trillanes, and Risa Hontiveros as among those who are “bobo” or stupid in the Senate.

“Para sa ‘kin bobo si Senator Trillanes. Yan, bobo yan. Si Risa Hontiveros, bobo yan. Si Mr. Sharon Pangilinan, si Mr. Sharon Cuneta, bobo yan. Maraming bobo dyan,” Gadon said, who is running under Kilusang Bagong Lipunan.

He also rose to fame on social media after several short clips showed him saying “Hindi sila bobo [They are not stupid]” shoutout to students and groups of people.

When he filed his certificate of candidacy for senator last Oct. 12, Gadon said it was the “stupid” senators who pushed him to run.
