As of July 13, 2013, the City of Manila has posted the highest number of Influenza-like illnesses in Metro Manila this year, with 30 percent, or 267 cases out of the 897 cases in NCR.

However, according to data from the Department of Health, this showed a 63-percent drop from the 723 cases in Manila in the same period in 2012. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
