MANILA — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday assured that it would release “the soonest” statements of contributions and expenditures (SOCEs) of candidates in the 2022 polls.

“The CFO (Campaign Finance Office) is now in the process of collating all SOCEs submitted throughout the nation, and they are culling pertinent data relative to compliance with Sections 13 and 14 of RA7166, in relation to pertinent Sections of Article XI of the Omnibus Election Code,” Comelec acting spokesperson Rex Laudiangco told reporters.
