More than 1,000 passengers of a northbound MRT-3 train were offloaded on Tuesday evening in Pasay City due to a system problem.

An MRT-3 report showed that the train dropped off 1,134 commuters at the northbound portion of Buendia station after it encountered an “ATP failure” at 6:07 p.m.

The service disruption was caused by “worn out ATP sub-components” like ATP board and ATP sensor, the report said.
