Suspected drug pusher killed, 5 others nabbed in Bulacan buy-bust
CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS—An alleged drug pusher was killed while five other suspects were arrested in gun battle with the Bulacan police during a buy-bust operation Wednesday in San Miguel town.
Ferdinand Sanguyo Jr. was killed when he and the other suspects tried to shoot their way out of the area, after the police announced their presence in the sting operation, said Senior Supt. Timoteo Pacleb, acting Bulacan police director.
The police arrested Gerald Peñaflor, John Oliver Gonzales, Dennis Salvador, Ryan Sanguyo and Roselyn Peñaflor.
Police forensic investigators recovered six heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu (metamphetamine hydrochlotide), a caliber .38 revolver and assorted shabu paraphernalia. RAM
