Alleged ‘big-time drug pusher’ nabbed in Bohol buy-bust

DUERO, Bohol—Police has arrested a suspected “big-time drug pusher” in a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Guinsularan in this town on Wednesday.

Allan Tenio Gamana, 33, will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Insp. Sinforiano Buno Abayabay, Duero police chief, said that Gamana is a “notorious big-time pusher” in Duero.

Abayabay said the drug bust operation was carried out after three months of surveillance on the suspect’s illegal activities.

The operation was conducted along the national highway of Barangay Guinsularan around 10:20 p.m.

The suspect, who was inside his multicab, was arrested immediately after handing down a pack of shabu to a policeman who posed as a buyer.

Abayabay said they confiscated from the suspect one big pack and five medium-sized sachets of shabu, P500 cash and other prohibited drug paraphernalia.

Also seized from Gamana was a plastic transparent box that contained at least P400,000 worth of shabu placed inside five big sachets, two medium-sized sachets and five small sachets. RAM
