VBank to take center stage in grand launch

The countdown begins as popular names gear up for VBank taking center stage in its grand launch at the prestigious SM MOA Arena on January 12 at 8 p.m.

Vbank, dubbed the “Bangko ng Masa,” is the brainchild of senatorial aspirant Luis “Manong Chavit” Singson.

Vigan Banco Rural Incorporada (VBRI), a rural bank supervised by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), underwent a digital transformation and secured the necessary licenses from the BSP to offer mobile banking and other electronic banking services through Vbank.

“Through Vbank, I can easily extend my help to the Filipino masses. I hope that every Filipino will enjoy Vbank so that they can receive my help that may be the beginning of their comfortable lives,” Manong Chavit said.

Vbank aims to make banking easy and safe for the Filipino masses. With the Vbank mobile app, one can bank anytime, anywhere, without the hassle and long waiting times – from opening an online account to making fund transfers, bill payments, and purchasing mobile prepaid credits.

The event will be hosted by the dynamic trio of Billy Crawford, Tuesday Vargas, and Eric Nicolas. It will be a night of entertainment and excitement with performances from chart-topping artists like Bamboo, Gloc-9, and KZ Tandingan.

The night will feature sensational acts from EZ Mil, Calista, and comedienne Ai-ai Delas Alas, Vbank’s proud Brand Ambassador. Buganda Drum Beaters and Manoeuvres Ignite will set the groove.

VBank has received an overwhelming number of online registrants since January 1; hence, the signing-up has already been closed as of January 6.

Registration is exclusive to Filipinos aged 18 and above, residents of the National Capital Region, and those with a registered VBank account. The winners and instructions for claiming event tickets will be announced in the next few days.

Only the first 5,800 qualified registrants secured their spot at this celebration of the evolution of VBank, a product of Vigan Banco Rural Incorporada, into a groundbreaking digital platform focused on financial inclusion and community welfare.
