RIZAL, Nueva Ecija, Philippines—Two persons were hurt on Thursday morning when a light trainer plane crashed into a house in Barangay Poblacion North here, police said.

Senior Insp. Cornelio Ordanza, Rizal town police chief, said the pilot, Paul Pafultad, 30, of Binalonan town in Pangasinan province, suffered a head injury while farmer Glenn Paraiso, 54, had bruises on his body when the plane hit his house at 7:30 a.m.

Ordanza said the co-pilot, Wen Htet, 21, of Myanmar, was unhurt, contrary to earlier reports. Investigators have yet to determine what caused the plane, owned by WCC Aviation Co., to crash.
