All set for Herbalife Cebu Family Run

HERBALIFE Cebu stages its first fun run dubbed Family Run this Sunday starting at the Sumilon Road at the Cebu Business Park.

But organizers are worried about gathering runners since there will be another race to be held on the same day, which is the Cebu Run For The Rivers of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce Inc. (CCCI).

“We were aware of another running event but we were informed too late so now we are worried about our registration,” said organizer Nina Divinagracia Marino of Herbalife.

As of this writing, the run has gathered only 206 runners spread between the 3-kilometer and 5k categories.

Organizers said they decided to go ahead with the race for the sake of their sponsors. The race’s proceeds will be given to the SOS Children’s Village Cebu.
