The Department of Education (DepEd) has signed an agreement with the Philippine Normal University (PNU) on a program meant to enhance teacher education in the country.

Education Secretary Sonny Angara, also as chairperson of the Teachers’ Education Council (TEC), on Thursday signed the agreement with top executives of PNU.

The agreement with PNU will bolster the Research Initiatives in Teacher Education program, which has 13 priority research projects, according to Angara.
