Robber arrested in Mandaluyong
Police arrested on Saturday a 24-year-old man who carted away more than P20,000 worth of items after stabbing three females inside a manpower agency in Mandaluyong City.
SPO1 Disilito Custodio said that Cherry Lou Villa and a still-unidentified woman sustained serious injuries in the body and were rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Jennifer Oliveros, owner of Earthlings Manpower Services on Nueve de Pebrero St., Barangay Plainview where the incident happened sustained injuries in the arm.
“The suspect, Joden Valeriano, was outside the agency around 9 a.m., pretending to wait for friends he said he was helping to look for jobs,” Custodio said.
After a few minutes, Valeriano went inside and declared a holdup. He fled after taking the three victims’ cell phones and money, while stabbing them.
Valeriano is now detained at the Mandaluyong City Police Station. Kristine Felisse Mangunay
