Shabu worth P151,000 seized from 2 drug pushers in Cavite

Two alleged big-time drug traffickers were arrested on Saturday night, November 12, and yielded over P251-million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Imus City in Cavite province.

LUCENA CITY — Cavite police anti-narcotics operatives arrested two alleged drug pushers and confiscated more than P151,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation on Monday in Dasmariñas City.

Jeric Elicot, 29, and Ryan Merle, 34, were arrested on Monday night after they sold a pack of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Sampaloc 4, Colonel Christopher Olazo, Cavite police chief, said in a report Tuesday, April 11.

The operatives seized from the suspects 22 grams of meth with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P151,800.

The police are tracking the source of the illegal drugs.

The suspects were detained and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
