8 suspects yield shabu, gun in Cavite drug busts
LUCENA CITY — Cavite police anti-narcotics operatives arrested eight alleged drug traffickers and seized shabu (crystal meth) worth more than P101,000 and an illegal firearm in separate buy-bust operations on Friday and Saturday, March 3 and 4.
The Police Region 4A reported that operatives in General Trias City collared at around 4:15 a.m. Saturday Vicente Doinog in Barangay San Francisco.
Dolnog yielded seven plastic sachets of meth worth P21,000.
In Dasmariñas City, drug enforcers busted Jason Tampol, Jayvic Monte, Joenifer Moran, Sattar Janatul, and Eva de la Cruz in a sting operation around 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
Authorities seized seven sachets with a street value of P34,500.
Article continues after this advertisementAt about 1 p.m. on Friday, police in Bacoor City nabbed Jobert Quilao.

Meanwhile, cops in Rosario town arrested at around 10:30 p.m. Abner Reyes also on Friday after being found carrying four sachets of shabu and a homemade caliber .38 revolver with four bullets.
All arrested suspects were tagged as SLI (street-level individuals) on the drug watch list in their respective localities except Quilao, who is classified a “high-value” target in the government’s anti-illegal drug campaign.
They were detained and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Reyes will also be charged of illegal possession of a firearm.
