2 alleged pushers yield shabu, gun in Imus City drug bust

LUCENA CITY – An armed drug pusher and his associate were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Imus City, Cavite on Saturday (Feb. 25), police said Sunday (Feb. 26).

Police anti-narcotics operatives nabbed Delfin Basto and Sherwin Concepcion, both identified pushers on the government’s drug watch list, at around 11:22 p.m. in Barangay (village) Pasong Buaya 2.

The operatives found Basto carrying two sachets of meth with a street value of P1,380 and an undocumented caliber .45 pistol with four bullets.

The suspects were detained and charged of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Basto will face another case for illegal possession of a firearm.
