Teen yields P500,000 ‘shabu’ in Cavite drug bust

Suspect yields P43K worth of meth in Olongapo City

LUCENA CITY — An 18-year-old female drug suspect was arrested in Dasmariñas City, Cavite province, after allegedly yielding more than P500,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation on Thursday, Sept. 8.

The suspect, considered a “high-value” drug trafficker, sold around 9:30 p.m. P9,500 worth of shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay San Antonio De Padua 2, Colonel Christopher Olazo, acting Cavite police chief, said.

The suspect was caught with 16 plastic sachets of shabu weighing 75 grams that had an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P510,000.
