4 drug suspects fall in Cavite bust; P1.1M ‘shabu’ seized

PDEA shabu lab raidLUCENA CITY––Anti-narcotics agents arrested Thursday four more alleged big-time drug traffickers and seized P1,156,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Dasmariñas City in Cavite province.

The Calabarzon police reported Friday that Cavite anti-illegal drugs operatives collared at 2:25 p.m. Samsia Dicampong, Sarabanon Untong, Asimah Untong, and Suwaid Mohammad in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Datu Esmael.

Seized from the suspects were seven plastic sachets of shabu weighing 170 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P1,156,000.

Police were tracking the source of the illegal drugs.

All suspects are under police custody and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

On June 8, police busted three drug suspects in the same village in Dasmariñas and seized P47.6 million worth of shabu.

Last June 2, local police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency agents seized 80 kilos of shabu worth P544 million from five drug suspects, also in Dasmariñas and General Trias town. INQ
