2 arrested in Camarines Sur busts

Shabu (crystal methamphetamine) | INQUIRER.net 

LEGAZPI CITY—Two suspected drug traders were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Sunday and Monday in Camarines Sur.

Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Mark Vincent Batas, 35, was arrested at 4:28 a.m. on August 8 in Barangay San Felipe.


Police recovered from Batas three sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P3,400.

In Canaman town, Jomar Nepomuceno, 32, was collared in Barangay Dinaga at 12:03 p.m. on August 7, in Barangay San Felipe.


Anti-narcotics agents confiscated a sachet of shabu worth P500.

The suspects will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
