The NBOC suspended its canvassing on Friday and will resume session on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The poll body is targeting to make senatorial proclamations by early next week.

As the NBOC, the Comelec will be canvassing votes for senatorial and party-list polls. The presidential and vice-presidential votes, meanwhile, will be canvassed by Congress after it resumes session on May 23.

Based on the latest release of Comelec’s partial and official count, former action star-turned-politician Robin Padilla is leading the senatorial race with over 13.2 million votes so far.

Padilla is followed by Antique Rep. Loren Legarda with 12,290,805 million votes, and broadcaster Raffy Tulfo with 12,223,867 votes.
