Man steals burger from ex-girlfriend out of jealousy, gets arrested

A jealous ex-boyfriend stole his former lover’s bag of fast food because he did not like that the girl is no longer getting meals from him.

Ervin Johnson snatched his ex’s Burger King meal while she was walking to her apartment in Texas, United States as per Fox-owned television station KTBC on Sunday, Jan. 19.

The victim reportedly called the police on Jan. 16 to report the incident that occurred on the same day. Johnson allegedly hid in the bushes while waiting for the girl, then jumped out to steal the food, according to court documents.

Johnson then ran off to his apartment upstairs, which is located in the same apartment complex the victim lives in, as per the report.

The suspect reportedly told police that he committed the crime because he was angry that a new man is buying his ex-girlfriend food.
