MANILA, Philippines — Pasig City mayoral candidate and Councilor Vico Sotto cast his vote at 1:53 p.m. on Monday, inside the covered court at the Valle Verde Country Club 5 village.

Sotto initially delayed his voting after being informed that the vote counting machine (VCM) assigned at his precinct was malfunctioning. He opted to leave and return once the VCM is fixed, instead of leaving his shaded ballot.

Sotto’s mother, actress Connie Reyes who was with him when he tried to vote this morning, had already cast her vote.
