Cops nab 2 motorbike thieves in Caloocan

MANILA, Philippines — Two suspected motorcycle thieves were arrested by the Caloocan City police on Saturday morning.

The arrested suspects were identified as Jhon Christopher Arpon, 19, and Edward Pepito, 32, both of of Baesa, Quezon City.

During initial investigation, victim Amil Basang, 26, told police that his motorcycle was stolen along Tieremas Street, in Barangay 157, Caloocan City at 1:00 a.m. Following the report, police officers then conducted an operation to look for the stolen motorcycle.

Police officers accompanied by the victim, saw the stolen motorcycle being driven by the suspects along Baesa Road, in Barangay 158.

The officers then immediately arrested the suspects and recovered the stolen Honda XRM Motorcycle with plate number EC11456.

Arpon and Pepito were later turned-over to the custody of the Caloocan police station’s Anti-Carnapping Unit. /muf
