Palace: Duterte’s ‘excellent’ satisfaction rating ‘hard slap’ on opposition
MANILA, Philippines — The Duterte administration’s “excellent” satisfaction rating was a “hard slap” on the face of the President’s critics, Malacañang said on Saturday.
“Our countrymen’s towering satisfaction in favor of our hardships and attainments is a hard slap on the face of the opposition and our detractors, who, from day one, never gave the leadership of President Duterte a chance to show them his competence in administering the nation’s affairs,” Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a statement.
Malacañang said this after the Duterte adminstration received an “excellent” satisfaction rating on the recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey result.
The pollster said the administration received +72 which was six points higher than the +66 satisfaction rating it gained in December 2018.
