Popemobile won’t be bulletproof, says Tagle


The vehicle which Pope Francis will ride during his three-day visit to the Philippines next year will not be enclosed in bulletproof glass unlike the one used by Pope John Paul II in Manila in 1995, according to Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle.

Naia 3 ‘bombing brains’ arrested

Frustrated presidential candidate Ely Pamatong is arrested and bought to the NBI after he claimed that the suspects in the foiled September 1 bombing of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 (NAIA-3) were only framed.Pamatong likewise presented his theory on who could be behind the frame up. 

Lawyer Ely Pamatong, who admitted ordering the retaking of the Spratlys from China but not the bombing of Manila’s international airport, was arrested as he arrived in the capital on Wednesday.

Enzo Pastor slay ‘mastermind’ released

The businessman tagged as the mastermind in the murder of international car racer Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor walked out of detention in Quezon City on Tuesday after posting bail in relation to the complaint over the two unlicensed pistols seized from him during his arrest in Muntinlupa City last week.
