The Social Security System (SSS) will speed up the release of the claims of the families of the victims of the Resorts World Manila attack.

In a statement on Monday, the SSS said “victims and family members may file their claims applications in the two help desks set up in the funeral parlors where the victims were brought to.”

The state-run pension fund has formed a special team to assist the victims and their families to file and claim their benefits.

“A help desk was set up in the two funeral parlors, namely Veronica and Rizal Funeral Parlor, to facilitate immediately the casualties’ claims. SSS initially wanted to set up the help desk in the Resorts World premises but the hotel is still on lockdown,” the SSS said.
