BAGUIO CITY— A welder was found dead inside his rented room with an electrical cord wrapped around his neck on Thursday afternoon at the Dominican Hill Extension, police said.

Nick Anthony de Leon, 14, saw his 40-year-old father Mauro de Leon lying on the floor when he peeked through a window.

Nick had to telephone his mother, Delia Delmo, who holds a key to the room, the Cordillera police said.
