CA panel recommends confirmation of Executive Secretary Medialdea
In less than two minutes on Wednesday, a panel of the Commission on Appointments (CA) unanimously recommended for confirmation the ad interim appointment of Executive Secretary Salvador Campo Medialdea.
No member of the CA’s committee on government corporations and other offices raised a question after the nominee presented his qualifications.
It was Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, who moved to recommend Medialdea’s appointment for confirmation, which was immediately seconded by Senator Loren Legarda and other members of the panel.
The recommendation of the panel will then be transmitted to the CA plenary for either concurrence or rejection. CDG
