/ 10:21 PM October 10, 2016

Convicted Chinese drug lord Vicente Sy on Monday belied the allegation that he had an affair with actress Rosanna Roces.

During the last day of the congressional inquiry into the proliferation of drugs at the New Bilibid Prison, Sy denied the testimony of Bilibid inmate and former policeman Nonilo Arile.

Arile said Roces was a constant visitor of Sy.

Asked during the interpellation about the former sexy star, Sy said Roces was only his “friend.”

Walang pag-ibig,” Sy said in broken Filipino.

Sy said Roces brought friends with her at least twice during her visits.

“Dalawang beses lang nagdala ng babae,” Sy said.

In a Facebook post, Roces belied the allegation she was Sy’s mistress.

Roces however admitted that she brought women inside Bilibid. Sy earlier admitted giving millions of bribes to officials for him to get preferential treatment inside the Bilibid.   READ: Drug lord Sy admits bribing officials for preferential treatment During the hearing, Senator Leila De Lima was implicated by several inmates as receiving millions of drug kickbacks from Co, convicted robber Herbert Colanggo, and convicted kidnapper Jaybee Sebastian for her senatorial campaign bid when she was justice secretary.

Inmates alleged that De Lima’s former driver Ronnie Dayan collected proceeds from the drug trade for De Lima.

De Lima’s alleged favored drug lord Sebastian admitted raising P10 million campaign funds for De Lima from the sale of shabu. But Sebastian said it was De Lima’s former security aide Jonel Sanchez, not Dayan, who was De Lima’s bagman.

Dayan was ordered arrested by the House committee after he was cited in contempt for snubbing the congressional investigation.
