Inter-Barangay darts on

THE Fourth Mayor Michael Rama Inter-Barangay Darts Tournament will kick off tonight at the Baseline Sports and Recreation Center.

Organized by the Cebu City Hall Employees Darts Association (CHEDA) headed by Bert Colong Jr. the competition aims to discover Cebu’s new darts talents and continue the city’s darts grass roots development program.

The tournament will feature the Classified Draw doubles and three man team 501, the Youth Singles 501 and the coveted Open Singles 501.

Registration fee for the doubles, three man team and the open singles is P100 while there will be no registration fee for the youth singles. The open singles and youth singles will be played tomorrow night according to tournament director Colong Jr.

The winning team in the classified three-man team will take home P3,000 while the champion in the doubles will get P2,000. The youth singles champion will receive P700 while the open singles champion will receive P2,000.

Cash prizes will also be awarded to the second to eighth placers in each category. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
