Heavy traffic expected on NLEx on Jan. 17–18 due to Pampanga music fest

MANILA, Philippines — Heavy traffic is expected on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) this weekend, Jan. 17 and 18, due to the Hiraya Music Fest & Hot Air Balloon event at Clark Global City in Pampanga, according to NLEx Corp.
In a Wednesday advisory, the company said activities for the Hiraya Music Fest & Hot Air Balloon are scheduled from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

“Heavy traffic is expected in the area during the event,” the company said.
NLEx Corp. encouraged motorists to load their RFID accounts and plan their trips in advance.
Attendees were advised to use the Clark South exit.

NLEx Corp. said traffic personnel will be deployed in areas covered by the Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) to assist with the anticipated traffic./mcm
