2025 bar exams: Ateneo, WVSU top schools in terms of passing rate

Meanwhile, West Visayas State University in Tacloban leads the top performing law schools with 11 to 50 examinees with a perfect passing rate of 100 percent followed by San Beda University (97.78 percent passing rate) and University of Makati (95.65 passing rate).

 

MANILA, Philippines – Ateneo de Manila University, Ateneo de Davao University, and West Visayas State University emerged  as the top-performing schools in the 2025 Bar examinations in their respective passing rate categories.

For schools with more than 100 examinees, Ateneo de Manila University topped the list with a 96.52 percent passing rate followed by University of the Philippines (94.63 percent passing rate) and University of Santo Tomas-Manila (87.16 percent passing rate).

For schools with 51 to 100 examinees, Ateneo de Davao had a 100 percent passing rate followed by Polytechnic University of the Philippines (89.89 percent passing rate) and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (83.56 percent passing rate.)

The Supreme Court said the school ratings were grouped based on number of Bar candidates and by number of first time Bar takers. /gsg
