Police nab car theft suspect in Las Piñas
MANILA, Philippines — A 39-year-old man wanted for car theft was arrested by authorities in Las Piñas City, police said on Thursday.
In a report, the Southern Police District said Las Piñas police operative collared alias “Rod,” – who was also among the list of most wanted persons in the city – in Barangay Talon 4 around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
His apprehension stemmed from an arrest warrant issued by Presiding Judge Pia Cristina Bersamim Embuscado of Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court, Branch 198, dated November 29, 2023.
Police said his warrant has a recommended bail amounting to P300,000.
