MANILA, Philippines — The low-pressure area (LPA), which was once Tropical Depression Queenie, is anticipated to bring cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms in Maguindanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte and other areas in Mindanao that are still reeling from the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng (international name: Nalgae).

In the state weather bureau’s 5 p.m. Thursday advisory, Northern Mindanao, Caraga Region, Davao Region, Soccsksargen, and Lanao del Sur will also experience the same weather conditions.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the LPA was last located 140 kilometers east of Davao City.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country may anticipate fair weather despite partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

Pagasa did not raise a gale warning in any seaboards nationwide.
