LTO-NCR opens website for license plate queries
The Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) has launched a website to address the backlog in vehicle license plates and make it easier for motorists to locate and claim their license plates.
LTO-NCR Director Roque Verzosa III said in a statement on Thursday that clients may use the website (www.ltoncr.com) to conduct online plate inquiries and search for replacement plates (green to white) and new motor vehicle or motorcycle plates, specifically those paid for at LTO-NCR offices.

They may also use the online portal to order replacement plates delivered to a nearby district or extension office. Since the website’s soft launch in January, over 10,000 replacement plates have been issued, with more than 1,000 plates delivered through website requests, Verzosa said.
He added that this will help reduce congestion at LTO offices and allow the agency’s personnel to focus on other LTO services. —JEROME ANING
