PNP rounds up 3 suspects, seizes P2.1-M drugs in Cebu, Kalinga

Around P2.1-million worth of crystal meth or shabu and marijuana were seized from three suspects in separate buy-bust operations in the provinces of Cebu and Kalinga, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Thursday.

MANILA, Philippines – Around P2.1-million worth of crystal meth or shabu and marijuana were seized from three suspects in separate buy-bust operations in the provinces of Cebu and Kalinga, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Thursday.

In a report, the PNP confirmed the arrest of Rolando Yag-ao, 32, in Tabuk, Kalinga on Wednesday, after operatives confiscated from him marijuana valued at P1.8 million.

Meanwhile, two other drug suspects, identified as Isagani Rafayla and Jonamil Abella, were likewise nabbed in the town of Minglanilla in Cebu.

Seized from them were shabu pegged at P340,136, according to the PNP.
