6 drug suspects fall in Rizal busts; P435,000 shabu seized

Alleged drug pusher yields P68K meth in Rizal

LUCENA CITY — Anti-narcotics agents arrested six suspected illegal drug traffickers and seized more than P435,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in buy-bust operations in Rizal province.

The agents collared at 2:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, John Carlo Santos, Janice Sesbreño, Mark Nelson Belleza, and Efraim Hernandez in Barangay Looc in Cardona town, the Region 4A police reported.

Authorities confiscated from the suspects 10 sachets of meth weighing 50 grams worth about P340,000.

In Antipolo City, police nabbed at 11:07 p.m. on Tuesday Leonardo Virgin in Barangay Sta. Cruz. Seized were two sachets of shabu worth P40,800.

Also arrested was Joseph Gascon in Barangay Cupang at 10:07 p.m.

Authorities seized P54,400 worth of shabu from the suspect.

All suspects were detained and face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
