Bets miss expense statement deadline

/ 05:08 AM June 10, 2022

Three presidential and two vice presidential candidates failed to file their statement of contributions and expenditures (Soce) before the June 8 deadline, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

The presidential candidates are Ernesto Abella, Norberto Gonzales and Faisal Mangondato while the vice presidential bets are Manny Lopez and Rizalito David.

The June 8 deadline is nonextendible for candidates who lost in the May 9 elections, but winning candidates and party-list groups are given six months from proclamation to file their Soce before they can assume office.
