At least 26% of DOTr employees positive for COVID-19, says exec

MANILA, Philippines — At least 26 percent of the 1,126 employees of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) were found positive COVID-19, an official revealed Friday.

“Ang total employees po ng DOTr ay nasa 1,126 po. So sa ating testing, gumawa po tayo ng testing nakaraan, dalawang araw po ‘yung pagtetest natin using RT-PCR po, ay mga 26 porsyento po ang mga positive,” DOTr Undersecretary Artemio Tuazon said in an online press briefing.

(The total number of DOTr employees is 1,126. So in our two-day testing, we conducted a test using RT-PCR, and 26 percent of them were found positive.)
