Over 57,000 Zambales folk fully vaccinated against COVID-19

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales – A total of 57,027 individuals or 13.7 percent of the target population have so far been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Zambales as of Friday, August 27.

Data from the provincial health office showed that 395 residents received their second vaccine dose from Aug. 24 to Aug. 27.

Another 46,806 residents are awaiting their second dose.

A total of 103,571 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Doses of AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the province.

The province needs to inoculate at least 413,560 of its 590,800 residents to achieve herd immunity.
