Tarlac COVID-19 watch: 472 recoveries, 49 new cases on Friday

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – The province of Tarlac recorded 472 COVID-19 recoveries on Friday, which brought down the province’s active cases from 1,384 to to only 954.

The province, however, also logged seven COVID-related deaths – six senior citizens and a  54-year-old woman from Concepcion town.

The senior citizens who perished were from Concepcion, Moncada, Gerona, Tarlac City and La Paz.

Tarlac City has the most number of residents who recovered from COVID-19 with 107, followed by Capas (85), Moncada (49), and La Paz (43).

The province reported 49 new cases on Friday, bringing its total confirmed COVID-19 cases to 7,561 since the start of the pandemic last year. Total recoveries is at 6,261.

Of its 954 active cases, 434 are residents of Tarlac City, 77 are from Capas, 63 from Concepcion and 62 are from Gerona.
