Cop who shot woman dead in QC to face murder, admin raps – Eleazar
MANILA, Philippines — Criminal and administrative cases will be filed against the “drunk” police officer involved in the killing of a 52-year-old woman in Quezon City on Monday night.
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said this Tuesday, as he identified the policeman as Master Sergeant Hensie Zinampan.
According to Eleazar, they have enough evidence to file murder complaints against the suspect and that he already ordered the PNP Internal Affairs Service to investigate the incident for the filing of administrative cases.
“Case of murder will be filed against him today, naandiyan na ‘yan, pinababantayan natin, admin case will be initiated, file an admin case,” an irate Eleazar told reporters in a press briefing.
“So that the soonest possible time, mawala na siya, ‘di masabing pulis, tanggalin sa ating organisasyon (he’d be dismissed, can’t be called a police officer, removed from our organization),” he added.
