No court hearings from March 13 to March 18

All court hearings will be suspended from March 13 until March 18 in the face of the spread of COVID-19.

The Supreme Court made the announcement on Thursday afternoon, citing the recommendation of the Office of the Court Administrator and consultation with judges and court personnel.

The suspension applies to the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals, Regional Trial Courts, Municipal Trial Courts and Metropolitan Trial Courts. —Dona Z. Pazzibugan
