Sandigan Friday hearings suspended

/ 05:22 AM March 13, 2020

The Sandiganbayan Third Division has suspended its scheduled hearings for Thursday and Friday after the Office of the Ombudsman closed its offices for disinfection against COVID-19 infections.

Presiding Justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang, who also chairs the third division, said the suspension of her hearings was due to the lack of prosecutors, who are employed by the Ombudsman, and affected by the closure of its office. —Patricia Denise M. Chiu
