COVID patient in Cagayan de Oro worked in Metro Manila
ILIGAN CITY –– The 54-year-old man now confined at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) in Cagayan de Oro City who contracted the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) worked in Metro Manila.
Dr. Leonel Quitos, infectious diseases specialist at the Adventist Medical Center (AMC), said the patient revealed that he worked in Pasig and San Juan.
The man is from Ganassi, Lanao del Sur. He was first admitted to the AMC here and was later transferred to the NMMC in Cagayan de Oro when tests showed him positive for COVID-19.
Dr. Jose Chan, NMMC chief, said the patient was being watched by a family member since his confinement at the facility.
