‘Dumi mo:’ Fuming Bong Go hurls allegations vs Trillanes

MANILA,  Philippines  —  Senator Christopher “Bong” Go,  President Rodrigo Duterte’s closest ally in the Senate did not mince words when he hurled allegations against former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, one of the staunchest critics of the chief executive.

Go who was Duterte’s long-time aide before being elected as senator was fuming when asked about Trillanes, who recently posted bail for the conspiracy sedition charged filed against him in connection with the series of “Bikoy” videos.

The said videos, titled “Ang Totoong Narcolist,” linked the President, his family and even Go to the illegal drug trade.

“Alam mo Trillanes, ang totoong ‘Bikoy,’ si Sonny Boy. Ikaw ang totoong ‘Bikoy.’ Sa totoo lang, dumi mo…San kukuha si (Peter) Advincula ng pambayad? Professional video lalabas,” Go alleged.

(You know, Trillanes, the real ‘Bikoy’ is Sonny Boy. You are the real ‘Bikoy.’ Honestly, you’re dirty. Where will (Peter) Advincula get the money? A professional video was released).

“Gusto mo akong kulayan ng itim, kami, kukulayan ng itim, para ikaw ang pumuti. Style mo ‘yan. Ngayon, sasabihin mo sinong mayabang? Ikaw ang mayabang. Pag dumaan ka pa lang lipad lahat sa hangin,” he added.

(You want to paint us black, so that you can be painted white. That’s your style. You’ll say we are the arrogant ones? You are the one who’s arrogant. When you show up, everything will be blown up by air).

The neophyte senator’s tirades against Trillanes did not stop there.

“Hindi ako tutulad sayo. Pagdating ng panahon, pagbaba ng amo ko. Di ako magtatago. Pero magpapa-injection kami ni Pangulo ng anti-rabies, baka makagat kami ng asong ulol,” he said.

(I will not be like you. When the time comes that my boss steps down, I will not hide. We will have ourselves injected with anti-rabies, we might get bitten by a rabid dog).

“Di ako tutulad sayong magtatago sa Senado. Pupuntahan kita, sasamahan kita, ihahatid kita sa amo mo naman. Ang amo mo si Satanas,” he added.

(I will not be like you and hide in the Senate. I will accompany you when you go to your boss: Satan).

Face to face

Go then challenged Trillanes to run for office in 2022, saying that they would cross paths in the upper chamber should he win.

“Magkita tayo dito. Tumakbo ka sa 2022. Hanggang 2025 pa naman ako so magaabot pa tayo dito,” he said.

(Let’s meet. Run for office in 2022. I’m still here until 2025 so we will still cross paths).

“Pag nakikita ko yung litrato mo diyan sa gallery, natatakot ako baka kagatin mo ko,” he added.

(Every time I see your photo in the gallery, I’m scared because you might bite me).

Trillanes earlier slammed the sedition case filed against him as part of the Duterte administration’s continuing political persecution of its critics.

INQUIRER.net has sought the reaction of Trillanes on Go’s remarks but has yet to receive a response as of posting.
