MANILA, Philippines–A special investigating team will be created to look into the circumstances behind the death of radio broadcaster Dindo Generoso, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said Thursday.

Generoso was killed by riding-in-tandem gunmen Thursday morning while driving his brown Hyundai Elantra along Barangay Piapi in Dumaguete City.

He is the second broadcaster attacked in less than two weeks. Last Oct. 30, Benjie Caballero, acting station manager of local radio station Juan FM and a provincial stringer for a tabloid newspaper was shot while waiting for a ride outside his house.
