Cloudy skies, rains to persist in NCR–Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Expect cloudy skies with isolated rains and thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country as easterlies will continue to affect the eastern section of the Philippines, state weather bureau said Friday.
According to a 24-hour public weather forecast issued at 4 p.m., easterlies will prevail over the eastern section of the country while northeasterly surface windflow will affect extreme Northern Luzon.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Batanes and Babuyan group of Islands will experience cloudy skies and rains due to northeasterly surface windflow.
Pagasa warned the public of possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms.
