Hilliard credits her faith in God for her long life. Her eyesight is no longer as good for reading anymore but she still makes an effort to recite Bible scriptures regularly, the report said.

The centenarian believes God is using her 106 years to show the value of the Bible verse Psalms 91:15-16, which she said is her favorite verse.
